Hajj Packing Essentials & Quick Pilgrim Guide

A practical packing reference for pilgrims. Confirm current instructions with your airline, organiser and official authorities before travel.

IMPORTANT: Check your actual airline booking and current-year baggage and pilgrimage rules. Allowances and enforcement can vary.

Luggage essentials

Checked suitcases

75 × 55 × 28 cm · total 158 cm
  • Two checked suitcases
  • Up to 20 kg each
  • 20 kg each does not permit one 40 kg suitcase.

75 + 55 + 28 = 158 cm total dimensions; 158 cm is not the suitcase height.

Measure outside the closed, packed bag. Check wheels, handles and pockets against your airline’s method. Weigh every bag including its empty weight.

Cabin bag

55 cm high × 40 cm wide × 23 cm deep

One cabin bag, up to 7 kg. Each dimension and packed weight matters.

Measure outside the closed, packed bag. Check wheels, handles and pockets against your airline’s method. Weigh every bag including its empty weight.
